One Strike Forward, Two Strikes Back

Build 8970 just hit the servers and its laden with bugs, problems... and Frost buffs (possibly bugged).

We were promised bigger damage on dual-rune abilities but instead Scourge Strike damage was nerfed substantially (30% or so) with no explanation. The listed damage is the same, but the actual damage does not compute, meaning it is probably a bug.

Conversely, Frost Strike is now doing incredible damage (similar to pre-nerf Scourge Strike) despite it being listed as the same in the tool tip (30% weapon damage + 100). I have had a few Frost Strikes over 5k and I dont have merciless combat. Pretty strange. Oh yea, I respec'd Frost since Unholy isnt really worth it with Sissy Strike. Howling Blast is going for a lot more too, around 1.2k. This still doesn't make it worth casting over Obliterate, but its probably worth grabbing the Rime talent for a PvE build. Icy Touch is also going for over 1k on crits, which is fairly respectable.

Once there is a blue post on the subject I'll link it here but there is also some weird stuff going on with this build across the board, not just with DKs. There is some kind of issue with hit and crit items lowering the stats instead of boosting them and Titan's Grip doesn't even work for warriors. Pretty strange. I'll keep you posted.
