I'm doing some good damage in raids with 51mm/15rang but I don't see the reason for the AOE nerf with Electrified/Silver Tip Munitions. These munitions deal good damage, but by no means was 51 MM the top AOE DPS spec. Cabs, Stormcallers, etc. still crush Rogue AOE damage.
Also, its not even possible for them to nerf Rending Munitions the same way, so they are only nerfing the munitions that scale with points in MM. I don't really get it. Also, it was clumsily implemented, with the munition only proc'ing on the target closest to you, instead of your main target, so you can't even keep stacks on your main target when AOEing. Annoying.

How do you feel about the 51MM/14RNG/1RS
For the 3% AP bonus?
Do you think the 3% bonus will top an extra 1% from the damage?
Oh and taking the 1 point out of bolster to gain a 3% AP Bonus instead of a 2% Dmg decrease.
3% AP instead of 1% damage from Shadow Fire buff is where i'm heading too. :)
The reason I don't like putting 1 point into RS is that it limits your versatility.
If you leave it as 0 points, you can switch to Saboteur if your raid needs a snare (Vlad, Grug) or Infiltrator with fights that have CC (Zilas), or RS for the added mobility.
I think this versatility (and 1% damage) outweighs the 3% AP.
I think Dun said it best and I would have to agree with his post. Overall there are always 1-3 points that seem to be interchangeable with ideas. However I have found, when I have a 0 point soul, that I love having the extra flexibility in general.
Excellent perspective thanks for the help.

Hey Dun, for what reason do you take 1 in Bolster instead of finishing out 3/3 Quick Shot? I'm having trouble figuring out why 2% damage reduction is preferable to doing more damage, however small the damage increase may be?
@Kaiser The 3/3 in Improved Quick Shot actually lowers your damage, because when you're spamming QS, the dot will reapply every time, and it won't have time to tick at all.
Its a poorly designed talent, but what can you do but make the best use of it?
